ARTICLE 1 – PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

When you make a purchase on Boutique Batman , as part of our buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address or phone number.

When you browse Batman Store , we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

As part of email marketing, with your permission, we may send you emails about Batman Store about new products and other updates or your uncompleted orders.

ARTICLE 4 – SHOPIFY

Batman Shop is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online commerce platform that allows us to sell Batman Shop products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify's storage and databases. In the general Shopify application, your data is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.

For payment, if you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify will store your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your order. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. Therefore, we do not have direct access to the information you used to complete your order. That information travels through Shopify and payment processors.

Indeed, all direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard. This security standard of the payment card industry, PCI-DSS in English for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is established by the five main card networks (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and JCB). These standards ensure the secure processing of credit card data during your purchases on Boutique Batman and by its service providers.

ARTICLE 5 – SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES

In general, the services provided by third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us, such as payment processing.

However, certain of these providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions at Batman Store .

This means that no human will have access to the full card number. COOKIES

Below is a list of cookies that we use. We have listed them below so that you can choose whether you want to allow them or not.

  • _session_id, is a unique session identifier that allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
  • _shopify_visit, saves cookies since the last visit for 30 minutes. After that, no data is recorded. This cookie is used by the Batman Shop provider's internal statistics tracking system to record the number of visits.
  • _shopify_uniq, this cookie expires at midnight of the next day based on the visitor's location. This cookie measures the number of visits to a store by a unique customer.
  • cart, this unique identifier persists for 2 weeks and stores information relating to your shopping cart.
  • _secure_session_id, is a unique session identifier.
  • storefront_digest, is also a unique identifier. It is undefined if the store has a password. It is used to determine if the current visitor has access or not.

By using Batman Shop , you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country, state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your country, state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use Batman Shop .

By entering your phone number at checkout and initiating a purchase as well as subscribing through our marketing opt-in list, you agree that we may send you SMS notifications (for your order and including abandoned cart reminders) or SMS marketing offers.

The number of marketing text messages will not exceed 30 per month. You may unsubscribe from the SMS mailing list at any time by replying “STOP”.
